DEXTER —A man who early Tuesday afternoon was firing a BB gun at frogs in a pond twice struck a 15-year-old boy in the leg, according to state police.

The teenager was standing near the pond, police said.

Gregg A. Pietramala, 21, of 17102 County Route 53, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and is summoned for arraignment in Brownville Town Court.
