Three men were arrested Tuesday night by Watertown police in connection with the assault upon another man, who suffered a fractured orbital socket.
The victim, Joseph J. Deyear, 25, of 24920 Ridge Road, was treated at Samaritan Medical Center and released following his assault shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday at 222 N. Massey St. Police said he was repeatedly punched in the face and also was kicked.
Charged with third-degree assault are Kendall S. Johnson, 20, Fort Drum, Jason L. Williams, 18, of 150 Clinton St., Apt. A-1, and John C. Hines, 20, Fort Drum. They were due for arraignment Wednesday in Watertown City Court.
