LOWVILLE Attorney Susan J. Kraeger has been recognized by her peers for her advocacy work on behalf of children.
Ms. Kraeger, Brantingham, has been presented the Honorable Michael F. Dillon Award given for outstanding advocacy. She is one of only two recipients in the states Fifth Judicial District, which encompasses six counties, including Lewis and Jefferson.
The award is given by members of the Attorneys for Children Program within the court systems Appellate Division, Fourth Department, which covers 22 counties. In all, the program comprises more than 750 attorneys. The programs Departmental Advisory Committee selects two attorneys apiece from the Fifth, Seventh and Eighth judicial districts for the honor.
