DWAI - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Annita L. Grant, 58, of Norfolk with driving while ability impaired and ticketed her for a traffic violation following a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 11 in the town of Potsdam.

AGGRAVATED DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Tammy L. White, 45, of Akwesasne with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 37C in the town of Massena. The driving while intoxicated charge was elevated to a felony under Leandra’s Law since she had two children under age 15 in the vehicle while she was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was also charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and an open container violation and ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps.

DWI - RUSSELL - Canton-based state police charged Kevin N. Gibbins, 54, of Hermon for driving while intoxicated after he was involved in a personal injury motor vehicle accident early Wednesday on his motorcycle on County Route 21 in the town of Russell. Gibbins was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital, where he refused to provide a preliminary breath screen and a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was charged withdriving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to abreath screen and ticketed forfailure to keep right and speed not reasonable and prudent.

ROBBERY - FOWLER - Gouverneur-based state police charged Codey A. Royce, 22, of Edwards with second-degree robbery, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and assault with a weapon with intent to cause injury.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 11 near state Route 420 in the town of Stockholm. The vehicle was operated by Leila L. Boyea, 48, of Bombay.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 37 near Trippany Road at the conclusion of the fireworks at the St. Lawrence Centre mall. The vehicles were operated by SM Thomas-Jackson, 31, of Massena and Marcey L. Thompson, 20, of Akwesasne.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CLINTON - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 11 near the Town Line Road in the town of Clinton. Troopers said the vehicle was being operated by Arthur L. Lilley, 37, of Norwood.
