The Ogdensburg Ladies’ Golf Association enjoyed the near perfect North Country weather on Tuesday playing for the Mary Baker Memorial trophy. Low gross scores for the day were Julie DeLarge 44, Jennifer Stevenson 45, Sue Brashaw 47, and Mary Allan, Peg Langley, Deb Barr, and Jean Bracy all tied with 48.

Low nets were posted by Shirley Pitcher 33, and Lois Copeman 36. Karen Morabito and Lois Copeman claimed Kay’s Chip-ins on number eight, Kay Hannan birdied number nine and Jean Bracy birdied number one.

The game for the day was “Even You Can Win” counting all the even holes for a score. Sharon Garvey placed first, with Barb Barr and Myrna Sandburg in a tie for second.

The club will travel to Gouverneur on Tuesday for the second Foothills match of the season. Those members who are not playing in Foothills will still meet at the July pairing times for the game of the week.
