CANTON - Girls in grades 5-12 are invited to attend the SUNY Canton Girls’ Basketball Camp August 6-9.

All the drills and conditioning during the camp will be structured based on actual SUNY Canton women’s basketball practices with an emphasis on individual instruction.

The camp will be led by SUNY Canton head coach Bruce Tallon and his two assistants Shannon LaFave and Regan Howlet and will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.

In addition to individual basketball instruction, there will be conditioning drills using the pool in SUNY Canton’s new athletic facility. The cost of the camp is $150 per player and that includes lunch each day and a t-shirt.

The campers will follow a very structured schedule each day which begins with a 9 a.m. warm and stretching followed by intense skill work.

Campers are asked to wear appropriate athletic clothes and footwear and to bring a bathing suit and towel.
