CANTON - Youngs Brothers downed Sergi’s 15-4 and Hoot Owl escaped Bessette’s 14-11 in Canton Box Lacrosse play on Wednesday at the Canton Pavillion.

Hoot Owl 14, Bessette’s 11: Pat Harrington and Ryan Locy each scored three goals and Richard Murphy connected twice for Hoot Owl. Eric Howard had 21 save.

Andrew Holden scored three goals and Mike Matthews added two for Bessette’s. Craig Miller had 17 saves.

Youngs Brothers 15, Sergi’s 4: Trent Durocher exploded for five goals and Jon O’Conners and Jesse Gilbert added three and two respectively for Youngs Brothers. Bill Bascom had 22 saves.

Jack Charlebois and Andrew Miller figured in the scoring for Sergi’s. Trevor Bombard had 16 saves in net.
