BRASHER FALLS - Massena Savings and Loan outscored B-W Quick Stop 17-11 while Rons Agridrainage rallied to gain an 18-18 draw with Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas in theNorthern New York Box Lacrosse High School Division matchups on Wednesday at the Tri-Town Arena.
In the Elementary Division game, Adirondack Aikido outlasted Dow Electric 13-10 while the first Adult Division contest of the season saw the Reds down the Whites 10-6.
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
Massena Savings and Loan 17, B-W Quick Stop 11: Ogdensburg Pepsi Player of the Game Luke Collins led the winning attack with four goals. Kyle Montroy netted three followed by Hunter Storrin with two while Luke Arquiett tallied a goal and two assists.
Dylan Mullin fashioned four goals and two assists as player of the game in the losing cause. Garrett Clark (1 assist) and Dalton Mullin contributed two goals apiece.
Rons Agridrainage 18, Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas 18: Blake Baldwin generated three goals and four assists to earn player of the game status as Rons overcame a late four-goal deficit to salvage the tie. Nick Randall added five goals while Ethan Beeson finished with two goals and an assist and Brody Simons logged a goal and three assists.
Drew Rose had four goals and three assists as player of the game for Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas. Cody Burns (1 assist) and Reese Evans struck for three goals apiece. Bobby Todd tallied two goals and two helpers while Zach St. Hilaire chipped in a goal and three assists.
Goaltending over the course of the two games were Kody Kocsis (24 saves), Kyle Cook (23 saves) and Parker Hornung (12 saves). Cash Feeley (8 saves) and Joel Hinkley (6 saves) both worked the crease for one game.
Adirondack Aikido 13, Dow Electric 10: Brendan Stowell anchored the winning attack with eight goals to gain player of the game status. Michael Donie added two goals while Jarrett St. Hilaire contributed a goal and assist and Feeley made 10 saves working the crease.
Damien Rotach was player of the game for Dow Electric after scoring three goals. Colden Hardy notched six goals and Carter Bordeleau handled four shots between the pipes.
The Reds 10, The Whites 6: Cody Kilcoyne had four goals and an assist to anchor the Reds offense. Bryan Bordeleau added three goals and an assist while Charlie Dullea worked the crease for 14 saves.
Tanner Phippen paced the Whites with a pair of goals. Ryan McCuin collected a goal and assist while Connor McCuin turned aside 14 shots manning the crease.
