CRIMINAL POSSESSION WEAPON - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Jose Achille, 30, of Brasher Falls with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (ammo clip), fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers said troopers had a missing person complaint on Achille following a domestic dispute at his 1528 County Route 53 residence in the town of Brasher. Massena Village Police picked Achille up at his workplace, Massena Walmart, at 1:11 a.m. Friday and turned him over to state police. A pistol registered in but not in New York state and a clip were reportedly located in his vehicle. He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was arraigned in Brasher Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
