The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club will be the beneficiary of two upcoming golf tournaments in the summer-

The Annual Alumni and Friends Golf tournament will be held Sunday, July 29th with a 10 a.m. shotgun start at the St. Lawrence State Golf Course in Ogdensburg. This tourney is a play your own ball event for men and women and participants have the option this year of playing their own ball or competing in a Captain and Crew Division. Cost of the tournament is $50 per golfer or $180 for a foursome if paid before July 27th. Included will be golf, cart a chance at prizes and a steak dinner following the event. Myers Pub will once again be sponsoring a Captain and Crew event on Saturday, Aug.18th at Langbrook Meadow in Brier Hill at 12:00 PM. Cost of the event is $70 per person and includes golf, cart, lunch at the turn, beverage tickets, prizes and dinner at the pub catered by Parker Piercey. There will be divisions in mens, women and mixed. Sign-up and pre-pay at the Pub or call 393-1241 for more information.

Remington Tournament At SLU GCC

CANTON - The Frederic Remington Art Museum is hosting their annual golf tournament on Friday, August, 24th at the St. Lawrence University Golf and Country Club in Canton, New York to benefit arts and education at our children’s museum. The tournament is a four person scramble with a 1 pm shotgun start. There will be women’s, men’s and mixed divisions.

Pre-registration fee is $75 per person and includes golf, cart, prizes and special awards, door prizes and dinner at the Best Western University Inn. There is a limited number of teams so pre-registration is necessary.
