UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Valerie L. Jessmer, 21, of Potsdam with second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 10 a.m. Monday. She is accused of preventing her husband from leaving their residence during a domestic dispute.



ATTEMPTED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jim E. Jessmer, 23, of Potsdam with fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief at 10 a.m. Monday. He is accused of trying to break his wife’s cell phone during a domestic dispute.



ASSAULT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jennifer L. LaFlamme, 27, of Potsdam with third-degree assault at 4:31 p.m. Monday. She allegedly hit Jerry Andrews in the head with a bottle during a domestic dispute on July 15. He suffered a head contusion in the incident. Andrews was previously arrested for criminal mischief for his role in the domestic incident.

1815 Disabled parking permit found in the street and turned in to the police department.

1820 Traffic stop on May Road. Verbal warning issued.

1839 Traffic stop on Leroy Street. Verbal warning issued.

1856 Record checks requested and done on three pistol permit applicants for Ogdensburg City Police.

1908 Potsdam Fire and Potsdam Police responded to a car fire in the high school parking lot near the football field.

2013 Received a report of an open fire on Elm Street near Cedar Street. Patrols responded.

2023 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue for a call.

2038 Traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue. Verbal warning issued.

2238 Traffic stop on Market Street. Verbal warning issued.

2250 Officer observed subjects in Bayside Cemetery. Subjects were issued verbal warnings for trespassing.

2345 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2350 Officer responded to a duress alarm at Debra Drive Apartments.
