■ Jefferson County Legislator Steven T. Harter, R-LeRay, submitted his resignation from the board over the weekend. Michael A. Montigelli, a former Black River village Planning Board member, was named as his replacement.

■ LOWVILLE — Lewis County legislators will hold a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. today in the second-floor chambers at the county office building, North State Street, to consider additions to the all-terrain vehicle trail system in the Constableville area and conduct other business.
