"CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Anthony R. McKinney, 32, of Potsdam with criminal mischief - intent to damage property at 11:02 p.m. Tuesday on Division Street. He reportedly broke a female’s phone during a domestic dispute. He was released on an appearance ticket for village court.

0152 Traffic stop on Elm Street. Verbal warning issued.

0219 Patrols responded to a burglar alarm.

0819 Completed a property check request for a village resident.

0821 Fielded a lost property report for a small, brightly-colored purse that may have been lost during the Potsdam Summer Festival. If located, please contact Potsdam Police Department.

0834 Potsdam Rescue Squad was dispatched to Clarkson University for a male patient who suffered an ankle injury.

1032 A male motorist entered Potsdam Police Department and was issued a replacement permanent handicapped parking placard.

1039 Patrol responded to a local housing complex for the report of a vehicle which was illegally parked in a handicapped lane. Response revealed that the vehicle did possess the proper placard, however, was in a lane assigned to a specific resident. The complainant was forwarded to housing management.

1307 Patrol completed a vehicle equipment inspection form for a motorist who had previously been cited for inadequate tail lamps in the town of Potsdam.

1313 Potsdam Rescue Squad was dispatched as mutual aid to Norfolk for an 85-year-old female patient reported to be vomiting blood; the request was later amended to an ALS intercept.

Potsdam Police Department was notified by the village of Potsdam Department of Public Works that they will be required to extend the closure of Cottage Street through the evening of July 18. The roadway will again be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

1500 Potsdam Police Department, along with Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue and numerous other agencies, responded to numerous calls due to the storm.

2302 Patrols responded to a domestic dispute. Arrest made.
