GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man was arrested at 4:32 p.m. Thursday after allegedly violating an order of protection in late May.

Beau R. McAdam, 32, of 82 Spencer St., was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

He allegedly drove to the Gouverneur residence of Alan P. Gay, who has an order of protection against him, on May 29. There, he verbally harassed Mr. Gay and threatened to beat him up, troopers said.
