HOGANSBURG — Michael Parent grabbed his first Empire Super Sprint Series win by holding off Lance Yonge during the Friday night slate of racing at Mohawk International Raceway.

Parent took the lead on lap nine and survived a near spinout.

Joey Ladouceur took round two of the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock series by taking the lead of lap 20 in the 35-lap race. PJ Peters and Stephane Lebrun rounded out the top three.

Dale Planck negotiated his way through traffic with five laps to go to win the 358 modified race, finishing of Chris Raabe.

Other winners include Dylan Evoy in the Sportman’s class, Mathieu Aubin in the Bandit race and Paul Klager in the Mod Lites division.
