AGGRAVATED DWI - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Whitney A. Wheeler, 20, of Brushton with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 7:23 a.m. Sunday on state Route 37 in the town of Fort Covington.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police reported on Sunday they had charged Trevor J. Blanchard, 25, of Norwood with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 8:20 a.m. July 11 on Sober Street.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Joseph J. Stagnitta, 39, of Malone with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident reported at 1:08 p.m. Saturday from the town of Fort Covington.

MENACING - CHATEAUGAY - Malone-based state police charged Frederick H. Clemons, 47, of Brushton with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon - assault rifle and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident reported at 8:58 p.m. Saturday from the town of Chateaugay.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MALONE - Malone-based state police investigated three property damage accidents in northern Franklin County over the weekend. They included:

■ Colleen R. Mannix, 36, of Malone at 7:31 a.m. Sunday on state Route 37 near County Route 1 in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Gerald L. McElwain, 85, of Malone and Christie L. Benedict, 32, of Massena were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 5:11 p.m. Saturday on County Route 4 at County Route 3 in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Bradley E. Deshane, 18, of Fort Covington at 9:17 p.m. Saturday on state Route 122 near state Route 37 in the town of Westville.
