CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - COLTON— A Canton man was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday after state police allegedly found two different drugs in his car.

Steven N. Riley, 48, of 482 Old State Road, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-A misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Mr. Riley was stopped shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at a road check on Route 56 in the town of Colton, where officers found hallucinogenic mushrooms and marijuana in his vehicle, troopers said.
