RAYMONDVILLE - The Ogdensburg Maples used a seven run second inning keyed by a grandslam homerun by Geoff Baldwin to steadily pull away for a 18-7 win against the Norfolk Rovers on Wednesday.
Baldwin pitched the win with Seth Pinkeron closing in relief. Offensively, Pinkerton (3-4 a double), Bryant Wentworth (4-4), Brendan Arsenault (2-3), Jared Knowlton (2-3), Andrew Cole (2-4 double), John Tayler (1-4), Nate Minckler (2-3) led the way.
Jordan Lashomb (double), Troy Kovach (single), Cody Smith (single), Tyler Hass (single, double), Brandon Noble (single), and Zach Brock (double) paced the Rovers.
