BURGLARY - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Edward Briel, 17, of North Lawrence with second-degree burglary following an incident reported at 1:47 p.m. Thursday from the town of Lawrence. He was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle when he was taken into custody Thursday afternoon at 690 County Route 51.
MENACING - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Aquarra S. Weegar, 17, of Chase Mills with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment following an incident at 12:32 a.m. Friday afternoon. Troopers had charged Weegar with a v■iolation of the Family Court Act following an incident at 6 p.m. Thursday in the town of Louisville.
MENACING - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged Joseph R. Trathen, 51, of Chase Mills with second-degree menacing Thursday following an incident reported to troopers at 10:54 a.m. July 20 from the town fo Madrid.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - Malone-based state police investigated two property damage accidents involving vehicles operated by teenagers Thursday in the town of Constable. They included:
■ Philip A. Sharpe, 18, of Constable strucked two parked vehicles at 11:22 a.m. on County Route 30 near state Route 122.
■ Anneashiaann M. Aiken, 18, of St. Regis Falls at 8:10 p.m. on Powers Road near County Route 28.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - DICKINSON - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 3:31 a.m. Friday on County Route 5, near Hazen Road, in the town of Dickinson. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Kyle M. Compeau, 21, of St. Regis Falls.
