WADDINGTON The town will hold its 2012 Homecoming on Aug. 3, 4 and 5. This years theme is Small Town, U.S.A.
Its going to be a very busy weekend, according to Nancy M. Putney, Homecoming coordinator. We have 130 vendors at the craft show and more music this year.
Homecoming buttons are available for sale at a number of businesses, including Waddington True Value and Community Bank. Buttons cost $1 each and were designed by artist Patti Van Patten. Money rasied from the button sale will fund Homecoming events.
Aug. 3
10 a.m. The Pet Show will be held at Town Hall Square. For more information, contact June Dumas 388-5674.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Waddington Hepburn Library book sale will be held in the librarys Community Room.
11:30 a.m. Teddy Bear Picnic at the Town Beach. For more information contact Benny or Jamie Fairchild at 388-5628.
1 p.m. The Sand Castle Contest will be held at the Town Beach. The contest will be sponsored by the Recreation Committee.
5 p.m. The Dedication of the Memorial Monument for exempt Waddington Fire Department members at Waddington Fire Hall.

6:15 p.m. The Homecoming Opening Ceremony will be held at the Town Hall Square.
