POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Thomas M. Larose, 44, 1513 Ford St., Ogdensburg, wwith petit larceny abd sixth-degree conspiracy Friday.

Mr. Larose is accused of stealing a Swann security system from the Walmart in Potsdam on June 3 with the assistance of an unknown female. He was picked up by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department on an arrest warrant and turned over to deputies in St. Lawrence County.

Mr. Larose was arraigned by Potsdam Town Justice Sam Charleston and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash.
