CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Rachel M. Keusch, 23, of 438 Main Street North, Alexandria, Ont., with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a secondary inspection of her motor vehicle conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents stationed at the Rooseveltown Port of Entry. Troopers said an inbound inspection revealed Keusch was in possession of methamphetamine. She was found with 2 1/2 ecstacy tablets in her purse, according to court documents. She was arraigned by Brasher Town Justice John Burns and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash. She is scheduled to appear Aug. 8 in the town of Massena Court.
