Alicia N. Schnelly, 418 Arsenal St., Apt. 2, was charged by state police on Wednesday with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. State police said Ms. Schnelly reported that her purse was stolen from a town of Watertown store.

She was given an appearance ticket for Watertown Town Court.
