The following residents were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
nJonathan M. Jerome, 27, of 13001 Route 11, Adams Center, was charged by state police on Wednesday with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and not staying in his lane in connection with a one-vehicle accident May 20 on County Route 65 in the town of Watertown.
Mr. Jerome was injured in the crash and treated at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.22 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
nKevin D. Stiles, 32, Ritchie Road, DeKalb, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI and crossing hazard markings at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday on Route 812 in the town of Oswegatchie. His BAC was measured at 0.18 percent, police said.
nLarry A. Deputy, 45, Knoxville, Tenn., was charged with felony DWI by state police at 10 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of Nice N Easy, 19853 Route 12F, town of Hounsfield, where he was found passed out in his vehicle.
His BAC was listed as 0.17 percent. Felony DWI is charged when the motorist has had a DWI conviction within the past 10 years.
nDwain A. Mashaw, 32, of 69 McIntyre Road, Ogdensburg, was charged by state police with felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday. Police said he was stopped on Route 37, Massena, after several 911 calls about a reckless driver.
He also was cited with refusal to take a breath test, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway and failure to keep right.
nNancy J. Peters, 49, Pyrites Russell Road, Hermon, was charged by state police at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday after she was in a single-car property-damage accident on Pyrites Russell Road, Russell, which is under investigation.
She was not injured, police said. Her blood alcohol content was listed as 0.16 percent.
nBorivanh Phanavong, 25, Fort Drum, is cited with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license in connection with an accident at 1 a.m. Saturday on Route 37 in the town of Theresa.
Jefferson County sheriffs deputies said that after his car went off the road into a ditch and caused damage on private property, he drove away. A witnessed followed his auto to Route 11 in the town of LeRay, where deputies arrested him at 1:45 a.m.
The sheriffs office listed his blood alcohol level as 0.11 percent.
nSarah E. Simpson, 29, of 148 Charles St., Watertown, was charged by state police with DWI at 1:50 a.m. Monday on Route 3 in the town of LeRay. She had a breath test reading of 0.09 percent, police said.
