Norfolk - Mr. Michael F.J. McIntyre, 67, of 1 High Street, passed away Tuesday July 31, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, VT.

He is survived by daughters, Christine and Jeanne; sisters Pat, Teri, and Mary; six granddaughters and two great granddaughters.

He was predeceased by brother Tom and infant son Michael F.J. McIntyre, Jr.

Mike was born December 3, 1944, the son of the late Edward Sheridan “Mac” and Mary Owen McIntyre of Hardin, MT.

Though he only lived in the Massena/Norfolk area for five years he found the home he was always looking for in this community.

He had many loving friends that became like family. He will be sorely missed.

Burial service will be held at a later date at Custer National Cemetery with full military honors.
