LOWVILLE The village board approved two local laws at its Aug. 1 meeting.
The first prohibits the posting of any signs on the Village Green. Sanctity of the park, which houses a 128-year-old Civil War statue, was cited as a primary reason for banning the signs.
The other bans parking along Bostwick Street from North State Street to Forest Avenue.
