CANTON — Second-degree murder suspect Dustin J. Trimm was indicted on six unrelated counts Thursday morning by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.

Trimm, 37, of 325 County Route 49, Winthrop, is accused of sending text messages offering a 16-year-old boy $50 to perform oral sex on him on May 13 and 14, as well as providing the boy with vodka.

Those allegations occurred while Trimm, who is accused of murdering 21-year-old Jason Wing in the summer of 2010, was free from jail after his father posted $250,000 bail.

Trimm allegedly shot Mr. Wing to death and buried his body on Grantville Road near Raymondville. State police found Mr. Wing’s remains in February 2011.

On Thursday, the grand jury charged Trimm with two felony counts of disseminating indecent material to a minor, two misdemeanor counts of third-degree patronizing a prostitute and one misdemeanor count each of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

Patronizing a prostitute was charged because Trimm is accused of “soliciting or requesting another person to engage in sexual conduct with him in return for a fee,” according to the grand jury report.

Trimm remains in jail, where he has been since Judge Jerome J. Richards revoked his bail on July 11.
