Terry E. Cook, 64, Great Bend, was taken to Carthage Area Hospital Wednesday night after his motorcycle went off the road at county routes 47 and 197 in the town of Champion and struck a mailbox, according to state police.

Troopers said he suffered a neck injury in the 9:40 p.m. accident and was found semi-conscious at the scene.
