HARASSMENT - NORTH LAWRENCE - Winthrop-based state police charged Wesley A. Merwin, 20, of North Lawrence with second-degree harassment Friday morning at 455 Smith Road, Brasher, stemming from an incident reported to troopers at 9:21 p.m. July 25 in the town of Lawrence.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - BRASHER FALLS - Three juveniles drom Winthrop - two 15 year old males and a 15-year-old female - were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after they were reportedly found in possession of marijuana on school property stemming from an incident reported to Winthrop-based state police at 9:27 a.m. Friday from the town of Lawrence. Their cases were turned over to the probation department for possible petitioning to St. Lawrence County Family Court.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS - NORTH LAWRENCE - Winthrop-based state police charged Garrison W. Viau, 59, of Winthrop with second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest following an incident reported to troopers at 3:56 p.m. Friday from the town of Lawrence. Viau was taken into custody at 763 County Route 51.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORTH LAWRENCE - Winthrop-based state police charged Alex M. Hanson, 17, of Canton with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 11 a.m. Friday on the CC Dam Road in the town of Brasher.

FALSELY REPORTING - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Keisha L.Laplant, 21, of Fort Covington with falsely reporting an incident Saturday morning stemming from an incident reported to troopers Friday morning. She was released on an appearance ticket.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - SOUTHVILLE - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 4:18 a.m. Saturday on state Route 11B near Brothers Road in the town of Stockholm. Troopers identified the driver as Tyler W. Cox, 19, of Raleiegh, N.C.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - HOPKINTON - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 10:48 p.m. Friday on state Route 11B near County Route 49 in the Hopkinton. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Sohaib A. Obeid, 50, of Potsdam.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 9:08 p.m. Friday on state Route 37 near Route 131. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Dale J. Beaulieu, 53, of Massena.
