The following residents were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Mark W. Cushman, 43, 1226 County Route 31, Lisbon, was arrested by state police at 10:41 p.m. Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated after an accident on Flack Road in Lisbon.
Mr. Cushman failed to make a turn and his car went off the road, crashing into two National Grid poles. His passenger, Ronald S. Saucier, was taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for an injury to his right hand.
Mr. Cushmans blood alcohol content was measured at 0.12 percent.
He is scheduled to appear in Lisbon Town Court.
■ David P. Sharlow, 44, 1972 Route 11c, North Lawrence, was arrested by state police at 11:55 p.m. Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses on the CC Dam Road in the town of Brasher.
Troopers stopped Mr. Sharlow when they saw someone throw a bottle out of the window of his car.
His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.12 percent.
He was also charged with equipment violation: broken glass, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, and driving a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate.
He is scheduled to appear in Brasher Town Court.
