Jessica Ziehm has been named the executive director of the Animal Agriculture Association, a group that advocates for livestock interests, according to a news release.

Ms. Ziehm previously served as the spokeswoman for the Department of Agriculture and Markets, most recently under the tenure of Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine of Cape Vincent.

The Animal Agriculture Association works “to build consumer trust and public support for modern agricultural practices,” according to the news release.
