CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION BREATHING - PARISHVILLE - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Bruce T. Smith Jr., 35, of 312 West Parishville Road, Potsdam, with misdemeanor charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree assault, endangcring the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief following a complaint of a domestic incident.

The altercation between Smith and a female companion occurred Sunday at their residence in the town of Parishville. The doemstic dispute took place in the presence of their infant son, deputies said.

Smith was arraigned in PotsdamTown Court and was released on his own recognizance
