BOONVILLE — Citing fiscal difficulties, Hand In Hand Early Childhood Center Inc. plans to close its facility at the end of the month.

The move is an attempt to help avoid a financial loss for a fourth straight year, said Linda A. Yousey, president of the nonprofit agency’s board of directors.

The agency, based at 5780 Brookside Circle in Lowville, expanded into the Boonville area in 2008.Operations at the Lowville center are expected to be unaffected.
