MASSENA - A 54-year-old Massena man suffered what were believed to be serious injuries when his motorcycle crashed at 4:05 p.m. Saturday on the Willow Street Extension under the Parker Avenue bridge.

Details of the accident and the name of the motorcyclist were not being released Saturday night.

Police said the Massena man was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital by Massena Rescue and was expected to be flown by helicopter to a regional trauma center in either Syracuse or Burlington, Vt. for treatment of his injuries.
