HAMMOND— A Hogansburg woman and Ticonderoga man accused of possessing 10 pounds of marijuana were arrested and jailed at 5:07 a.m. Friday by state police.

Tiffany S. Johnson, 23, of Hogansburg, and Timothy D. McDougal, of Ticonderoga, were charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Their addresses were not released by police.

The pair were allegedly stopped by border patrol agents, who found the drugs in their vehicle, while traveling on State Route 37 in Hammond at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, troopers said.

They were held in St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bond.
