Samuel Waldruff, 89, of Winchester, Virginia, formerly of Louisville, New York died Saturday, August 25, 2012, at his residence.

He was born September 25, 1922 in Louisville, NY, the son of the late Samuel and Margaret Waldruff. He married Lorraine Flynn, October 6, 1943 in Massena, New York.

He graduated in the class of 1941 from Massena High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company of America in 1984 as an Alcoa Wire Inspector. Mr. Waldruff was a member of VFW Post 2123.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Lynn St. Pierre of Massena, New York, three sons, Kurt Waldruff, of Brucetown, VA; Kimmon Waldruff of Winchester, VA; and Kent Waldruff of British Columbia, Canada.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Brucetown United Methodist Church with Pastor Yun Chol Kim officiating.
