CHAZY -Freshmen Jake Facey and Josh Huiatt scored goals as Canton downed Plattsburgh High School 2-1 in the consolation game of the Chazy Tournament on Saturday night. Matt Mende picked up an assist to back Scott White’s seven save goaltending. “Our defense played well and it was nice to score a couple of goals,” said Canton Coach Matt Caufield. “The team is starting to come together and this tournament always helps us gear up for the regular season.”
