OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Ryan J. Cassidy, 20, of Queensbury with underage possession of alcohol with intent to consume at 12:25 a.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue. Police said Cassidy was seen walking with an open container of an alcoholic beverage, was found to be less than 21 years of age and was issued an appearance ticket.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Pamineo C. Richards, 17, of Rochester with an open container violation and underage possession of alcohol with intent to consume at 1:27 a.m. Saturday on Maple Street. Police said Richards wasseen walking with an open container of an alcoholic beverage, was found to be less than 21 years of age and was issued an appearance ticket.



UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Vincenzo A. Marino, 22, of Hartford, Conn., with unnecessary noise - yelling after responing to a noise complaint at 11:54 p.m. Saturday on Walnut Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Benjamin J. Purvis, 18, of Norwood for uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Charles H. Buck, 54, of Potsdamfor consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway following a traffic stop at 2:59 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street. Police said they responded to a report a motorist appeared to be consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on Maple Street. Police said a traffic stop was initiated, and his vehicle was secured at the police station. He was provided with a courtesy transport to his residence.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Li Li Zhang, 38 of North York, Ont., for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 5:26 p.m. Saturday on Elm Street.
