UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Reshica Baral, 23, of Potsdam for failure to dim lights, failure to yield right of way to a pedestrian in crosswalk and unlicensesed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 3:12 a.m. Sunday on Union Street. Police said Baral’s vehicle was stopped after an officer observed the operator fail to dim its high beams and fail to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. During the traffic stop, police determined Baral hadonly a learner’s permit and no license.

0926 “Justice for Garrett” sign reported stolen from in front of village residence overnight.

0934 Debit card found at KeyBank ATM and turned in to the PD.

0950 Potsdam Rescue paged to provide ground transport for LifeNet.

1000 Dog at large reported on Lawrence Avenue vicinity of Catholic Church. Patrol responded but was not able to locate.

1005 Chestnut Street resident reports sewer backup. Superintendent of Public Works notified.

1016 Caller reports his wallet was stolen after he left it on the counter at a convenience store for a short time last evening.

1210 Owner reports his motorcycle sustained damage when it was either intentionally or accidentally knocked over in the Raymond Street lot.

1322 Patrol dispatched to Chestnut Street for a squirrel reported to be ill or injured.

1414 Sign stolen from in front of Computer Guys and recovered by Clarkson Campus Safety on campus and returned to the store.

1419 Report received from Clarkson Campus Safety regarding a damaged door at Hamlin House.

1431 Clarkson University student reports someone attempted to enter her dorm room at about 3 a.m. through an unsecured window. 1810 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

1855 Traffic stop on Cedar Street. Verbal warning issued.

1937 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

2129 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call. Patrol also responded.
