CANTON — Bridget A. Durham, 41, of 648 Old Dekalb Road, was charged Sunday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

During a dispute at her home, Ms. Durham allegedly threw a figurine at an unidentified 13-year-old girl. The figurine struck the girl near the eye, causing bruising.

Ms. Durham is scheduled to appear in Canton Town Court. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
