NORFOLK— A Norfolk woman accused of hiding two runaway children in her house was arrested by state police at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Sandra L. Kennett, 30, of 1945A County Route 38, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

Ms. Kennett allegedly told police she did not know the location of two children who had run away from home, but troopers later found them in her home. Further information about the children was not disclosed by police.

Ms. Kennett was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Norfolk Town Court on Sept. 5.
