PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Arthur T. Lilley II, 38, of Gouverneur with petit larcny following an investigation into a shoplifting incident Tuesday afternoon at Walmart in Potsdam. Walmart asset protection informed troopers they observed an unknown male, later identified as Lilley, take merchandise, valued at approximately $40, and leave the store without paying for it. Lilley was issued an appearance ticket for Sept. 13 in Potsdam Town Court.
PETIT LARCENY - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged Jon L. Ladue, 21, and Samantha H. Ladue, 20, both of Massena, with petit larceny Tuesday following an investigation into an incident reported at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 16 from the town of Madrid.
OBSTRUCTION - BRASHER - Massena-based state police charged Sandra L. Kennett, 40, of Brasher Falls with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration following an incident reported at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday from the town of Norfolk. She was arrested at 1945 A County Route 38.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Toby J. Back, 27, of Akwesasne with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. The small quantity of marijuana was located during a secondary inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents.
CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION BREATHING - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police charged Patrick F. Whitehill, 23, of Lisbon with criminal obstruction breathing, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child dollowing an incident reported at 7:57 p.m. Monday from the town of Pierrepont.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CANTON - Canton-based state police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on Judson Street Road at state Route 310 in the town of Canton. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Rebecca T. Marikano, 34, of Hereford, Pa., and Susan G. Klein, 62, of Colton.
