Derby Slated
WADDINGTON - The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association presents the 9th annual Walleye and Bass Team Derby on Saturday, September 15, from 7a.m.-3p.m. at the boat launch at Whitaker Park with the scales opening at noon.
The entry fee is $50 per 2-person team with an optional $20 big fish contest (1 fish per species). There will also be a $10 Conservation fee for non-member teams.
Sign up locations are: Waddington True-Value Hardware (hours 8-5 M-Sat. 388-4025) and Steves Stop & Shop (Rt. 37, Louisville).

Youth Hockey
Camp Slated
CANTON - A six-week youth hockey camp open to North Country players ages 6-9 is slated to begin September 9 at the SUNY Canton arena.
The six sessions (Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 21) will run from 10 -11 a.m. Division I and former professional hockey players will be serving as instructors.
The cost is $50 per player and the camp is open to the first 30 players that are paid in full. Spaces are still available.

MCS Swimming
Bottle Drive Set
MASSENA - Once again the MCS Varsity and Modified swim team would like to announce that they are having their annual fundraising bottle drive this Saturday.
Team members will be going door to door collecting whatever you can donate. Bottles can also be dropped off at Laneuvilles Redemption Center on East Orvis Street. Just tell them to put it on the teams account.

Hosts Shoots
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Rod and Gun Club will host a variety of range shooting this Sunday starting at 9 a.m.
Singles, traps, double trap, crazy quail and wipe-your-eye are among the categories of shooting slated to take place. Refreshments will be served. All visitors are welcome.
