AGGRAVATED DWI - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Logan R. Decarr, 18, of Parishville with a felony count of aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for illegally stopping or standing on a highway as well as for operating a vehicle with inadequate lights, inadequate plate lamps, inadequate exhaust and unsafe tires following a traffic stop at 12:34 a.m. Friday on state Route 11 in the town of Moira.



BENCH WARRANT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police picked up Shane M. Burnett, 23, of Massena on an arrest warrant from Norfolk Town Court Friday afternoon. He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $250. The arrest warrant, dated Aug. 2, charges Burnett with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unsafe backing stemming from an incident at 9:21 p.m. Dec. 21 on state Route 420 in the town of Norfolk. Burnett is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Norfolk Town Court.

Burnett was one of three men charged in December following an investigation into a truck stolen on Dec. 21 at Springs Park.

Village police had charged Richard Schwartzfigure, 17, of 242 Center St., Massena, with third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Village police had charged Burnettand Zachary Pitts, 18, of 224 Center St., Massena; with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Pitts was additionally ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Winthrop-based state police had initially charged Pitts with unsafe backing and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 9:28 p.m. Dec. 21 following a property damage accident on state Route 420 in the town of Norfolk

Kyle Phelix of North Lawrence told police he had parked his 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup next to a work trailer at Springs Park. He said he had last seen his truck, which had his wallet and cell phone inside the vehicle, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Dec. 21. He said he discovered the vehicle, registered in his father’s name, was missing when he returned his truck at 6:30 p.m. at the end of his work day.



BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Joseph Terrance, 28, of state Route 37, Fort Covington, on a bench warrant Thursday evening. He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow, and he was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash or $1,000 bond. Massena Justice James M. Crandall had signed the warrant on Aug. 24 after Terrance failed to appear as directed for a court appearance on a fourth-degree criminal mischief count.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Casey M. Hart, 19, of Portland, Maine, with petit larceny following an alleged shoplifting incident reported at 2:57 p.m. Thursday at the Potsdam Walmart store.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police charged Craig J. Butchino, 55, of Constable with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 8:50 p.m. Thursday at 593 state Route 122, Westville.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 10:56 p.m. Thursday on County Route 14, near state Route 37, in the town of Louisville. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Carol R. Barclay, 49, of Canton.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MOIRA - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 4:18 p.m. Thursday on state Route 11, near County Route 17, in the town of Moira. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Willie J. Robertson, 55, of Winthrop.
