CORNWALL, Ont. - The Cornwall Motor Speedway had their annual Fireball Enduro, the WWE of racing!
More 300 cars were in the pits to participate in the different events involving 4, 6 and 8-cylinder type of cars.
The afternoon started with the 50-lap ladies event, Jodi Pynenburg was the fastest of 39 womens and won her second feature in a row after winning in 2011.
The men`s 6-cylinders then took the track with 73 cars taking the initial green for 50 laps of mayhem. A few red flags slow the feature race as less than ten cars were able to complete the race, Patrick Taillon was the winner.
The first of two 50-lap 4-cylinder feature was next as 75 drivers took the initial green, this race was done rather quickly with no major incidents, Shane Hamel was the winner to this great race.
A field of 47 cars took green in the 50-lap 8-cylinder feature race. This event was tough on cars as only 10 of them finished the race. Former street stock regular, Jody Beckstead won the feature.
The fifth and final feature of the day saw 65 cars took the green in the second 4-cylinders race. Regular Mini-Stock runner, Mathieu Aubin won the final race of 2012.
This event completes the 2012 season at Cornwall Motor Speedway; we would like to thank all our fans, race teams and our sponsors for all their support throughout the year.
