POTSDAM— A Walmart employee accused of stealing from the store was arrested by state police at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Brittanie N. Snyder, 23, of Debra Drive, Potsdam, was charged with petit larceny.

Ms. Snyder is accused of taking various amounts of money from a cash register where she was working, troopers said. The total amount allegedly stolen was unavailable.

Ms. Snyder was issued an appearance ticket and released.
