NORWOOD - Martin K. Cooper, 33, Norwood was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies Friday and charged with grand larceny.

Mr. Cooper is charged with stealing over $25,000 worth of railroad metals over several trips to a location owned by Thomas Fiacco, Norwood over the month of August.

Mr. Cooper and an unidentified second subject allegedly loaded the metals onto a pickup truck late at night, later selling them at a scrap yard.

He was sent to the St. Lawrence Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.
