MASSENA — Mrs. Sharon G. LaDue-Donnelly, 68, of 403 County Route 43, passed away Friday afternoon, September 14, 2012 at Massena Memorial Hospital, after suffering a massive stroke on Monday morning.

Sharon was born September 8, 1944 in Potsdam, the daughter of the late James Edward and Florence M. Besio LaDue. She graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 1962 and later received her LPN Certificate from BOCES. On August 24, 1963, she married Lee Douglas Donnelly, he predeceased her in October 1994.

Sharon worked at the Highland Nursing Home as a LPN for many years until her retirement in 2000. She also enjoyed farming for many years. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, hanging out with her dog, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Randy Donnelly of Rochester; Debra Pope of Louisville; Kelly Donnelly and his wife of Waddington; and Lisa and Donald Sprague of Rooseveltown; and many grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lynn and Timothy Douillett of Massena; her brothers, James M. and Sharon LaDue of Massena; Ernest F. and June LaDue of Waddington; Richard F. and Carol LaDue of Massena; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Donnelly on October 28, 2006.

Friends may call Monday 9-11 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM with Most Rev. Robert DeLair, officiating. Burial will be in Louisville Community Cemetery.
