CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - COLTON - A Schenectady man faces a drug count after he was found to be in possession of over an ounce of marijuana during a traffic checkpoint at 12:26 p.m. Friday on state Route 56 in the town of Colton.

Deputies charged Anthony M. Tote, 21, of 1567 Goffords Church Road, Schenectady, with criminal possession of marijuana. Deputies said 1.6 ounces of marijuana was seized along with a small amount of cash.

A federal agency seized Tote’s vehicle, deputies said.

He was released on an appearance ticket for Colton Town Court.
