BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Michael P. OBrien, 42, of 29 Colgate Ave., Massena, on a county court bench warrant at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility pending an appearance in St. Lawrence County Court. He had been charged with felony counts of driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle accident in February.
PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Lisa L. Lashomb, 42, of 225 North Main St., Massena, with petit larceny Tuesday afternoon. Lashomb, a former employee at Kinney Drugs, was reportedly paying out winnings to herself on New York state Lottery tickets that did not have payouts. Lashomb told authorities she had taken approximately $200 from the store using that technique. Store officials had found $70 missing from their accounts on Sept. 3 and Sept. 10.
HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police charged Keith W. Snyder, 20, of 405 South Main St., Massena, with second-degree harassment at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday on South Main Street. He allegedly blocked in Kaycee Ashleys vehicle and then started calling her names and sending her threatening text messages, police said.
SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Courtney E. Lashomb, 22, of Massena for speed in zone following a stop at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on the South Racquette River Road. She was ticketed for following too closely later Tuesday following a property damage accident on East Hatfield Street.
UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Stephen A. Larock Jr., 43, of Massena for unsafe backing at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday following a property damage accident on Maple Street.
SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Linda G. Larock, 71, of Potsdam for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 2:10 p.m. Monday on East Hatfield Street.
